What an incredible story behind the photo. Thanks for sharing.
Amazing. So touching. I bet you have so much family pride and so look up to your Mom and Uncle for getting through such an awful life. I have never known anyone from the Concentration Camps of Nazi Germany. Great photo.

Thank you for sharing that picture and story.
This photo is amazing….chilling because of the holocaust, but chilling [in a good way] still because of their freedom.
My W W is now published. I hope you can stop by sometime if you find time. It’s a YOU TUBE I made of slides on a walking tour I took my husband on this past Saturday. If you have speakers, turn up the volume…some good music was added! Happy Wednesday!

The little boy looks just like my little guy.
OMG Julie…that is an amazing picture to have. Thank you so much for posting it and posting about it…I am so moved by families who were involved in the Holocaust on such a personal level and horrified by those who want to say it did not happen. My relatives were German as well…we just do not know much of anything about them. All the more reason to learn!
I love this picture! It’s fabulous!
What a fantastic photo to have! Treasured momento, for sure.
