Wordless Wednesday (well, maybe a few words…)
This is Anya and Tribute. Tribute is the grown up WW from last week and Anya (yes, we also have a hamster named Hamstanya) was our kitty. About a year ago someone left my front door open and she got out. We looked for months but never found her. I volunteer with the humane society and called all my resources, posted pictures and ads everywhere, she just didn’t want to be found. We’ve since moved, but I hear rumors she’s occasionally seen and doing well but no one can catch her. Anyway, I put this up because Jake walked to the hamster cage today and said “Nope, she’s not dead!”. When I asked if he knows what ‘dead’ means, he said “Being dead is when you run away, so we have to keep a close eye on that hamster!”

This post breaks me heart. When I just saw the images I was like, “Adorable,” but then I read on. I am the Mommy of four pet children; 1 doggy and 3 kitties. I just could not image losing any of them. After I read this post I went and gave all of my babies extra lovin’. I am sorry for your families loss.

Great shots! Tribute looks quite a bit like my lab Midnight (15 months old now). I hope he’s not as hyper as mine is though! Sorry to hear that your cat went on an adventure – maybe you’ll get her back some day.

My emotions are pulling in 2 directions. I had a house cat once that got out, we found it dead (real dead not just ran away!) about a week later.
What a great photo, sorry to hear you lost your cat though. Hope your hamster doesn’t “run away” any time soon.
