What he has to say

MY BABY IS SICK

So, it is going around or whatever. Miller has an ear infection and a 102-103 fever. It is so strange how hot he is. He is on antibiotics again, so hopefully the fever will break and he will feel better soon. This is his second ear infection, so, I guess he is done with them, so that’s good. Now, if anyone has any experience, will they remove the offending ears if they keep getting infected, and when is too soon to do so? It is amazing how much I have learned about fatherhood (and medicine) in the year that he has been kickin around. So, when I get out of work, we will have a little party and maybe watch some baseball and hopefully he will be feeling better soon.

IN OTHER NEWS

The baseball playoffs are winding up to get pretty exciting. Joe Torre’s Dodgers, with Manny patrolling left field, head to Philadelphia tonight. I am conflicted on these playoffs, cause I would love to see Manny smoke the Sox like a fat J-bomber, but would really like to see the Sox lose to the
Rays. A note to MLB: Forget about the tv ratings, pay attention to the calendar. Both of these series have been off for 3 days, and I have news for you: In Philly and Boston , it is starting to get cold at night. If one or both of these series end early, let’s not wait a week to start the Series.

My fearless predictions: Dodgers in 6+

Rays in 5= one heck of a Series that would have put some money in your pocket had you predicted it even 3 months ago.

I love baseball, and am a little miffed that neither my beloved Cardinals or the revered Yankees are playing, but, the show must go on!

Poor kiddo. My daughter had them on average once a month … until finally they put tubes in her ears.

Voila … no more ear infections!

If this keeps up, you may want to ask your pediatrician about this. Good luck!

the best thing for Ear infection or swimmers ear is the eardoc. With the Eardoc there relay inst any problem. as it is non invasive and it treats the problem and not the symptoms

The best thing for ear infections – at least as first defenders in – is a homeopathic remedy. There are many and they are based on symptoms, but I do believe Hylands has on called Ear Ache. You should go to the nearest health food store and grab a bottle.

It has saved my daughter from antibiotics many a time. Once in a while she still needed the antibx but rarely.

My wife has bought that stuff and once we got it in his ear it was good. I have told him the story of King Hamlet and he does not like things being put in his ear.
