Fitness Friday Week Two Update & EA SPORTS Active News!
Well, the second week of the EA SPORTS Active six week challenge ends today and boy, do I feel it! WHEW!
I have to modify my workouts because my knees crunch like potato chips, so I’ve modified my workout by putting it on hard and taking all the lunges and squats out. Following that workout, I’ll usually add in either a ten minute ab routine or customize an arm workout.
I’m a bit upset that I can’t do the leg exercises, because I despise my thighs. I’m finding that I have no problem with the running, sprinting and obstacle courses, so I’m hoping that calorie burn will tone my legs the way I’m hoping I can get them to be.
This stupid hysterectomy has caused me some weight gain. I swear, I’ve kept as active as possible since I’v had the operation. I used PT:Walking for months and then tried Wii Fit Plus until I felt i could handle the high intensity working EA SPORTS Active provides. Now I’m using the EA SPORTS Active More Workouts and adore it.
Since I got sick again last week, I continued to stick to my 4 days of working out using EAS Active, I just had to use it on Easy and sometimes managed a Medium since you can alter what you can actually do. Squats and lunges? Not the best idea when you have a stomach virus.
Now that I went to my doc and got an arsenal of medication to get me healthy, I’ve managed to bump my workouts to hard. I did that for the first time yesterday and like I stated above, added some other routines to make me feel a little better about my health and appearance. I don’t understand how @Active_Girl rocks the Squash. That’s something I need to work on. I’m a wii bit competitive and I want to vlog it once I master it, and I WILL master it, so watch out, women!

Good job Julie for working around your sickness, knees, ect! It’s awesome that you’re keeping active and working out! I used to use pain or any type of ailement to say oh I can’t workout, now I push through it and at least do my workout when I’m sick. EA Active has definitely helped to keep me motivated! 2 weeks down, 4 to go! Woo hoo

Oh gosh, I need to get back on the EA Sports Bandwagon, I so stopped exercising using my EA Sports Active a week ago and haven’t got back into my rhythm .. bad me! But then again my hubs moved out and back in all in the past two weeks so life’s been crazy!
