My Week One Challenge Wrap Up-Flashdance Style
So I’ve been working out for a week now using the new product coming out May 19th, EA Sports Active for a week now and I’ve had great success so far! You can follow my progress along with all the other challengers on the EA Sports Active website and I’d love if you’d become a supporter of mine on my Facebook page! The individual who shows me the most support (you can get creative!) will be given their own copy of EA Sports Active upon it’s May 19th release.
I’m also tracking my progress in the Wii Mommies Forum, where you can join me and 600 wonderful members who strive to achieve weight loss and good health through virtual fitness gaming. We have sections in there for non-fitness games, too, because it seems every game Nintendo makes for the Wii offers some kind of fitness benefit, even if you’re just bowling!
The forum also offers a ‘Therapy‘ session, where we could really use your help offering tips and encouragement to members who are looking to talk about the reasons behind their weight gain and fitness setbacks. From family stress to the economy, we’ve all gained excess weight for a reason, and what better place to talk about it than with like-minded people who’ve been there. I’m sure your voice will be appreciated!
So here’s my weekly video wrap up I took Saturday right after I worked out. I was so hot and sweaty, I didn’t even realize that my sleeve slipped off my shoulder, making me look like I just finished training for Flashdance or something. EA Sports Active really makes you work up a sweat and feel the burn! Check me out and I’ll see you in the Wii Mommies Forum!

Thanks for the great wrap-up video… Now who is all 80′s… Just kidding you are beautiful whether you are flash-dancing, foot-loosing, etc….
I’m gonna check out Wiifit Mommies, I just wanted to wait until we could get the fit. I am just teasing myself otherwise.

You don’t have to have the Wii Fit to join us, really you only need the Wii. We’ve broadened our horizons to include all the Wii Games that you can play to achieve weight loss and fitness, like EA Sports Active or even just the Wii Boxing that comes in Wii Sports, that really works you out! You can find the forum at http://www.WiiMommies.com/Forums
I thought you’d like my 80′s look lol
You are officially my hero! I don’t care if you picked your favorite picture to post or not… you still look great! I think the only pic I’d put up on the internet of me in a bikini took place about 10 years ago!! Thanks for the inspiration!
These days my idea of vigorous exercise is to lift my feet while Sarah is vacuuming.
Is this better than buying Maya?
I’m trying to figure out which one to spend my saved pennies on.
Awesome! I just heard about this…gives me an excuse to dig out the WiiFit again…it’s been gathering dust for the past 6 months, lol.
Lookit you all busy and sweaty! Glad to know this is a little more active – my Wii Fit is fun, but, I don’t work up a sweat.
Sounds like a great way to stay fit! I wish we had a wii. But all we have is a playstation 2.
I just noticed that you added google friend connect. I’m going to start following your new blog.
Congrats on the lose! You are doing great! I can work up a sweat on the wii fit, but this sounds like a boost that is really needed…maybe that difference that you would feel between virtual fitness/gym fitness..sounds great!
Nice! Good to hear that it’s working well for you. Just joined the forum, thanks for the link on Twitter. Oh and Julie just in case you were wondering? I am your #1 fan and I really would like that game you have to give. lol
I’m back on the Wii Mommies wagon – bound and determined not to fall off again!
I’m really jonesin’ for the new EA Sports Challenge, sounds exactly like something I need! You’re doing so great, you are truly an inspiration!
