V8 Fusion Rocks My Socks Off

I can’t believe my babies are growing up.  I mean DUR.  I KNOW they’re growing up but it’s our birthday season.  Joshua just turned three last week, their daddy turns 33 (heh) tomorrow (Happy Birthday dude.  I’m assuming your drinking days are over after this past weekend *giggle*), Jacob will be six on the 11th and I’m going to be 34 on April 14th (No need to write that down, I’ll make sure none of you forget).

With that I’ve been having some mommy flashbacks.  Jacob can’t drink milk.  As he got older he became able to have things like ice cream and yogurt but whole milk still hurts his stomach and when he was a toddler we were afraid he wasn’t getting the nutrients he needed to grow big and strong.  Enter V8 Fusion.  At the time, this product was fairly new (as far as I know, I didn’t drink juice) and it was a blessing.

I don’t allow sugar in my house.  I have a hard enough time getting my kids to eat healthy, I’m not going to have them sneaking junk food around so when they  get a chance to have juice of any kind it’s like they won the lottery.  Since it came in cool packaging (I love cool packaging and it’s super bright and colorful) and claimed to have no sugar (henceforth allowing my children to think they were having sugar but all the while I was winning), I started giving Jake V8 Fusion as soon as I saw it available on the market.

Since becoming a blogger, I’ve been lucky enough to connect with the brand itself and throughout the past few years have gotten free samples and treats from them and I’ve once again been given a delicious sampling for my family to try – V8 V-Fusion in new Concord Grape Raspberry, also available in the Light juice option and the new 6-packs of 8-ounce- slim cans in V8 V-Fusion Strawberry Banana Light and V8 V-Fusion +Tea Raspberry Green Tea juice beverages (no caffeine for them so that last one was mine-all-mine).

I’m assuming all of you know by now that the V8 Fusion line provides all of us with 100% fruit and vegetable juice, no added sugar, no high fructose corn syrup and it’s low in sugar.  With my little men in preschool and Kindergarten, I’m pumped that it comes in those 8 ounce slim cans to put in Jake’s lunch box and I can pour it into those non-spillable cups for Josh to take with his lunch.

Oh, Josh.  He’s killing me with the way he’s eating lately.  Chicken nuggets and PBJ.  That’s about it.  He asks for cake daily.  I do too so I can’t fault him there but his three year old eating habits are making his father and me worry that he’s not getting the nutrients he needs and although we’re giving both my little boogers (I call them ‘Boogers’ because they’re the perfect pick – I know, I’m twisted) their daily vitamin, we want them to actually have something substantial to digest so I’m going to take the time to pimp and thank the V8 Fusion line for helping me ensure my little dudes get what they need daily until I can finally get them to sit down and have a proper meal that might even include broccoli *GASP!*

They’re not compensating me for this other than sending the samples for me to try, I’m just sending out this note because I truly appreciate the brand and I adore free things.

You can like the brand on Facebook by just clicking here sand can learn more about them because I’m just telling you what I know.  They know WAY more than I do.  I just wanted to thank them for the samples and tell them that they totally rock my socks off, just as I did in the title.

Hey V8! You rock my socks off (where applicable – I wear flip flops often so you rick them off as well)!
