It’s Tuesday! Strap Your Random On! Random Tuesday Thoughts –

randomtuesday

So I take my kids to the shrink with me the other day (no sitter-NEVER AGAIN) and upon entering the VERY full waiting room, my four year old proudly announced, “We had to come to the doctor because my mom is SICK” and once the appointment was over, we walked out to him saying, “That wasn’t bad.  All she did was talk.”

I’ve been using the EA Sports Active virtual fitness product and have lost 3 pounds in the past 9 days.  I’m watching EVERYTHING I eat and working out according to the schedule it sets for you when you start the pre-programmed 30 day challenge.  PLEASE support me by joining my facebook group and be my number one fan!  Towards the end of my challenge, I’ll be picking my top 3 biggest (no pun intended) fans and will post a poll on Facebook for people to vote and choose my #1 fan.  That person will be announced on Facebook and Twitter at our celebration Twitter party and we’ll give them a copy of EA Sports Active!  Love me!  MEEEEE!!!

I’m super sorry (no, I’m not) to keep pimping myself out here, but come on people!  The Wii Mommies have 600 people in the forum and people are getting quiet.  We need some positive energy to remind people that summer is right around the corner and we need to support each other to achieve our fitness goals.  I’m kicking ass (if I do say so myself) and dropping the last of the weight I’ve neglected to lose and I’d like for you all to join me.

I don’t know if it’s all the working out and extra energy from that but my sex drive is through the roof!  I’m in First Magazine this month talking about how losing the weight spiced things up in the sack, but my goodness, I can’t even keep up with me!  TMI, I know, but it’s my blog and I can say what I want to lol.

Now I’m going to go to bed singing that stupid “It’s my Party and I’ll cry if I want to” song.  Shit.

This section is for McDonalds.  You stupid asses.  WHY?  Why would you put those god forsaken Kidz Bop CD’s in the Happy Meals?  I actually wanted to get my kids a burger so I wouldn’t have to cook but noooo…you had to endorse the single most retarded creation that’s ever existed.  I loathe those CD’s so much, I actually blogged about it my first week of blogging, you can read it HERE.

Okay, I’ve spewed enough for this week.  Time to take my Ambien and call it a night.  Big day of doing something that I have yet to plan tomorrow!  For more random, head on over to my bloggy buddy Keely at The Un Mom to join in on the fun.   It’s the perfect opportunity to say a whole lot of nothing or tiny bits of something.  It’s up to you!

Good morning, Julie! I just became a fan on FB. Looks like you are doing awesome – 3 lbs in 9 days? Wow!! I look forward to hearing more of your thoughts on the EA Sports Active…I got the Wii Fit because of you, so maybe the Sports Active is next? :)

  • MommaYoung says:

You are doing so good with your work outs, that is great! oh and I am your #1 fan!!! uuueewww, did that sounds like stalking? Sorry, LOL..

    Have a great Tuesday.

Oh and I am with you on the kidzbop!

  • Kyooty says:

I’m still waiting to buy a wii!!!

  • Harriet says:

    600 people? Wow.
    Ok..I’m joining your group.
Don’t have a Wii..actually, I’m not really sure what it is (duh..I know).

  • Brandy says:

Oh you saw those CD’s too?! Yeah mykids got them & the hubs put it in the CD player, as it’s playing over the stereo and hurting my ears – I realize WHY I never bought those CD’s for my oldest before! I agree the CD”s are just big people music without the swears – not so good for the kiddos in my opinion

I am heading over to FB to see if I am a fan yet – if I am not I will be soon – and then off to the forum hopefully to drop in and say hello!

    Talk soon,Brandy

  • If I were on facebook, I’d totally be your fan.

Kidz Bop IS stupid. I’d rather get all the songs from there, by the REAL artist and burn them all to a cd for my child to hear. Really? Who wants to hear KIDS sing, Single Ladies by Beyonce? Not me.

  • T&T says:

hee hee – my son loves those CDs – they don’t bug me so much!

I should look into going on a diet!

  • Elle says:

That’s so awesome that you’re doing so well. It gives me incentive to try harder.

  • Auntie E says:

My fitness Traffic Has virtually stopped on my blog. I do not know what happened. I posted the friday and weekly stuff but no Commenter. Today I posted a problem I have been having. Still no words of wisdom. So, I know how you feel! Guess they are in the 75 percentile. Wish you success.

  • Swoozie says:

Listening to kids sing songs on CD’s makes me CRAZY! I hate it I hate it I hate it!
    Rock on Julie!

  • Dr. B, says:

Your brother Chris survived surgery and is staying with us until he’s back on his feet – think his cat allergies are worse than his operation (he had a full-blown asthma attack last night, not pretty)
    xxxoooxxx

  • congratulations on the weight loss! sounds like you’re doing a great job :)

  • I love reading these random Tuesday memes. Your weight loss story is so inspiring. I wish I had a wii. Maybe someday. I just want to make certain that I don’t have too much weight to lose after my baby is born. Maybe then I’ll be able to afford a wii.

  • thanks… now I have that dang song in my head.

  • iceah says:

your little boy sounds like my little boy when we went to the doctor the other week for my check up c:

  • Heather R. says:

congrats on the 3 pounds but did you have to give them to me?

  • Heather R. says:

oh and I love the title of your blog this week!

  • frogmama says:

The shrink visit made me laugh out loud. Congrats on the sex drive burst! Through the roof is pretty impressive. LOL.

  • Keely says:

3 lbs! Nice work!! I need to get back on the diet train, I’m good with the working out but I just love food too much.

  • Ginny Marie says:

Thanks for the Kidz Bop warning! Sounds like I definitely want to avoid getting one of those CDs!

  • Casey says:

Ok, tell me it’s not just me but is there one person in your Mr Linky who just showed up to link and then left? I deleted that ho from mine. Petty, I know but oh well.

I have a hard enough time taking my kids to their own doctors appts, I’d probably die if I had to sit through a therapist appt with the kids in tow. Speaking of which, do you think it helps (the therapy, not the dragging the kids along part). I’m shopping around for one (a therapist, not a kid since shopping for kids is illegal).

  • Lisa Brandos says:

You had “I’ll never tell” as your first song? That is AWESOME! I’m a Whedonite, big time. I love most everything that Joss does. Buffy, by far, is my favorite! Thanks for the follow!
