That’s Meme In The Corner

chuck-norris-meme-generator-629c8dcf-sz250x250-animate

My pictures seldom have anything to do with the topic, I just think Chuck Norris is badass and nothing can defeat him.  It’s my new favorite day of the week, the week where I don’t have to think up a story I can just sit and answer questions about myself.  Wednesday used to be my favorite because it takes no effort whatsoever but I LOVE to talk about me so here we go!

Sunday Stealing on Thursday: The Meme From Memphis (part two)

Have any memories that you’d like to forget?
That’s what therapy is for.  I’d prefer to keep this light so I’m not going to delve into my past.

Is there someone you really like to hang out with and just talk about stuff?
I love my husband more than I love myself but if we’re excluding family I’d have to say Mr. Chris Tingley.  I talk to him about everything almost every day.  I can honestly say I talk to him more than I talk to anyone else.

Have you ever been called prince or princess?
There’s this stalker douchebag who always used to get drunk, fuck up my hair and call me princess.  I wanted to kick him in his sack.

Do you think teenagers are weird?
I was voted most unique of my high school class so I’m going to have to go with yes.  I was SUPER weird.  I campaigned for it.  I will say this, teenagers are looking younger and younger.  I remember in the 80′s they all looked like 30 year old porn stars.

How fast does your mood change?
I’m bipolar.  Without medication it can change every hour.  I forgot to take it once last week and I ended up with short term memory loss which led to me not talking it three more mornings in a row and I almost had a nervous breakdown.  I have my pills in cases clearly marked and next to my toothbrush and I swear I took them but when it comes time for my second dose I see that I actually didn’t and I get loco for about ten days.  I’m on day three of balancing out and I’m going on a four hour road trip with my children this weekend to see my mother.  I hope to all that is holy I can keep my shit together.

How are you feeling?
I’m thrilled!  It’s my son’s fifth birthday :)

Do you want someone to call you right now?
If you call me you’ll go straight to voice mail.  Text me all you want but don’t expect a call because phones scare the crap out of me.  I have phone-a-phobia.

What do you always take with you?
Lip gloss and my cell phone.

Is your bed comfortable?
It’s a brand new split king memory foam bed.  I haven’t had back pain in the morning since the day we bought it.  It doesn’t even squeak when we have the happy fun time.  You didn’t need to know that.

Would you say you’re an understanding person?
I’d say I’m likely too understanding.  I empathize with everyone and only see the good in people.  It’s why I ended up in therapy, I’m too trusting and people take advantage of me.

Are you generally a happy person?
Generally, yes.  I have the perfect life save for the fact that I’m a medical freak.  I take as many pills as a senior citizen and as long as I’m on schedule virtually nothing except my children and getting hit on annoys me.

Who’s in your facebook profile picture with you?
I rarely have anyone in it with  me, I’m WAY too vain for that.  I do have my family as my cover photo though.  I believe the only person I’ve ever had in a profile picture with me is my best friend Courtney. She’s the most beautiful girl in the world.

Were you single on Valentines Day?
I’ve been married almost nine years.  I got a new vacuum and found it romantic.  That’s dedication holmes.

What is the last movie you watched?
“The Watch” with Vince Vaughn, Ben Stiller and Jonah Hill.  It was better than I expected but nothing can beat out “Ted” in the humor department.

Do you listen to songs when you’re done?
When I’m done doing what?  I listen to The Beatles, Eagles, Led Zeppelin, The Muppet Green Album and Jason Mraz when I shower and when I can’t sleep.

How long does it take you to fall asleep at night?
I take a handful of pills and they take about 45 minutes to kick in.  Then I wake up three hours later and take two more pills to get me through another four hours.

Are you talkative?
I’ve always been told I am but then I had children.  They make me seem like a mime.

What did you do on St. Patty’s Day?
I stayed in my robe and watched Wreck It Ralph with my family.  I’m bipolar, drinking makes me want to kill myself (not joking).  I haven’t had a drink in almost 19 months.

This reminds me that I must finish part 2 from last week. The memories that I’d like to forget question involves way too much. Just reading the question makes me think of things that I’d rather forget, and YES Chuck Norris is badass.

I totally trust you. Wreck It Ralph was actually really cute. Kept the kids entertained and it was neat to recognize characters from games I played growing up. It helps if you like video games.

Ha – love a good Chuck Norris joke.

we didn’t do too much on St. Patrick’s day either. the days of Irish parties kind of went out the door when children arrived. which makes me feel bad since they do have Irish heritage.
I’ll get them drunk at 19. there you go, get your Irish on. LOL

Tell me more about this fabulous bed. I’m going for my 2nd epidural this week (3rd scheduled for end of April) and would LOVE to not go to sleep or wake up with back pain so I am all over advice from anyone who says they found a solution. Please…tell me, tell me!!

Ps. Every time I hear how much you love Ryan I think…Wow I hope that’s what I have years from now with Jay.

This is what I got. http://www.serta.com/icomfort-mattress-sleep-system-by-serta.html – Memory foam beds have a really strong smell for the first week so make sure you have ventilation and I totally suggest getting the pillows that go with it. That bed changed my life.

  • Loy says:

Congratulations on your 19 months of sobriety. That is way cool. My dad was in AA for nearly as long as I knew him–almost 21 years. On St. Pat’s Day I baked a chocolate mayonnaise cake, put green butter icing on it and took it over to my son’s house and shared it with the rest of the family. I did NOT tell them it had mayo in it. They loved it. Have a good week and a very Happy Belated Birthday to Joshua!

  • Terra Heck says:

I don’t normally dig comedies because I don’t see much humor in them but I really liked “The Watch”. I don’t do the phone thing either. I think it’s because I have to be on it all night at work. If you call my cell, 9 times out of 10 it will go to voice mail. Texting doesn’t bother me but I hate chatting and listening to nonstop talk. Was Wreck-It Ralph any good? My 19 yoa daughter loved it but I still have yet to view the movie.

I’m laughing at the thought of anyone asking me if I am talkative.

  • Tingley says:

By the way, I was also voted “Most unique” in high school. In my case, it was code for “weird kid”, but it fit either way.
