Ode To Jenn

jennnnnnnnnnn Ode To Jenn

This is my ode to Jenn, my best friend.  To all my other best friends out there, I adore you but this is my ode to Jenn.

I haven’t even known her for a year yet, but I can gauge her mood with the first word she speaks.  I fully relate to every issue she may have arise and think she is simply the most stunning woman in the world.

I’ve never had a friend like the friends you see in movies.  The ones that lay in bed drinking wine on a girls night out or snuggle without the fear they may think you’re a lesbian.

I was so blessed when Jenn and Sarah came into my life.  I have the most perfect partners to do business with.  We three can read each others minds seamlessly.  When one of us forms an idea for the Wii Mommies, the other two pick right up and we just click.

Getting back to Jenn, though.  She doesn’t give herself nearly enough credit and it breaks my heart.  She is beautiful and she is strong and she is the most kick ass mother out there.

She blows my mommying right out of the water.  She picks veggies she grows herself to cook healthy meals for her family.  She does what cleaning she can considering she’s in her third trimester and is also constantly caring for her young son and daughter.

She clips coupons.  Finds savings in every drug and grocery store in town.  I think she’d be more turned on by seeing a receipt of her savings over a plate of chocolate covered strawberries.

Jenn does all these things and still makes time to host the Wii Mommies Talk Show each Friday with me and Sarah.  She writes for her website www.SuperJenn.com (I did the design!) and she also writes for the Wii Mommies website and stays active in the forum and reminds everyone on twitter that the mommies are thinking of them.

How one woman could do all this while pregnant is beyond me.  I admire her.  I adore her.  I plan on stroking her hair and rubbing her feet in Chicago in a few weeks.

Woman, we are going to get through this pregnancy.  The final stretch is the hardest.  You hate your body, your husband tries but really can’t understand.  You do, however, have friends you can count on to be there for you.  I’ll talk to you for hours all night until we both fall asleep 0n the phone if your hormones are wreaking havoc.

I will drive my ass to Kansas to be there no matter what you need.  You want me there when little Ryan Julian arrives, that’s where I’ll be.

If you know nothing else, just know you are an inspiration to me.  I love you like a sister and I will always take care of you, because you always take care of me.  MWAH I kiss your pretty face.  Hope you don’t get pissed about the hippie love fest.  It’s 4:00 AM and you’re on my mind, so I write you.  Loves ya.
