Random Tuesday Thoughts – Momspective, EA SPORTS Active and my kids

randomtuesday

SO.  Hey.  What’s up?

Changes, changes.  That’s random, I know.  I’m so confident in my change, though.  The feed address will stay the same so I won’t lose anyone and hopefully in the coming weeks I rock your socks off and y’all don’t abandon me.

My son found a car insurance card the other day and thought that made him a superhero.  He totally “Power Rangered” the card and screamed, “Car insurance, GO!” and took off running.

Yeah, I said “Power Rangers”.  We found a bunch of VHS tapes and converted them to DVD for him.  We’re now questioning why.

Can y’all do me a favor ant tweet the fact that @CoolMomGuide is now @Momspective?  I didn’t lose any followers but people are still tweeting CMG and I have to make the change.

Why the change?  A few reasons.  One is that I’ve been getting pseudo-popular lately and people are staring to confuse me with Cool Mom Picks.  The folks over there are super nice and deserve to keep their own traffic and they totally Cool Mom’d it before I did.

Secondly is that I’ve realized I’m not a guide.  Who the heck am I guiding and to where?  Besides the fitness stuff, I just tell you my ideas and perspective on life as a woman and a mother and if you know my hubby at Cool Dad Central, or “the Sloganator” as we like to call him, there are few things better than making up a word.  Especially a kick ass word like Momspective.

My entire life is changing starting today.  Well, last Saturday actually.  I hired a stylist, Liz Howard from A Shopper’s World, to help change my life.  In the coming days I’ll show you before and after pictures and videos to show you my “Mom Makeover”.  I have new hair, new makeup, new clothes and a brand new “Momspective” on life.

My wordless wednesday will be a great before and after shot, and thursday I leave for Santa Barbara for the EA SPORTS Active retreat with @cutiebootycakes @daddyclaxton: @jessicaknows @mombloggersclub @mommybrain @active_girl and others to continue this amazing journey blogging and weight loss has set me on.

So I wasn’t funny today.  Sorry.  Going through a zen thing Momspective… Check this out though-over the next few days I’ll blog when I can and Vlog when I’m not Blogging and you’ll see it all in the upcoming weeks along with me doing my 30 day challenge with Active that starts on my birthday!  I’m turning 32 *vomit* and plan on dropping 10 in that 30 day challenge.  I bet I can do it!

Thanks to all for your support and since I  have 4 giveaways going on already, I’m going to wait until they’re done to do a big one to kick off my new site name but I have changed the giveaway rules to my new twitter name.  My button will no longer be valid though, so i’ll change the button across the baord myself but if you could link it to the new website name, giant hugs will be given in your honor.

Be sure to check out The Un Mom for more Random Tuesday Thoughts.  She’s the bees knees.
