randomtuesday I Heart Random Tuesday Thoughts

Ahhhh…..I seriously save up all week just to compile my thoughts on this day.

I like my men like I like my frosting-whipped.  That’s not true, but it’s freaking hilarious.  Thick & Creamy, that’s how I like my frosting.  HAHAHA.  I could do so much with that, but I don’t want to offend you.

Speaking of frosting, All About Cakes (one of my favorite blogs, she’s the Mom of The Wise (*Young*) Mommy, another blog favorite of mine) is having her first contest to celebrate her 100th post.  The amazing 100 Piece Betty Crocker® Decorator Kit includes everything you need to create beautiful, perfectly decorated cakes and desserts, just like a professional.  She’s also including the following-

*60 more bags
*20 decorator sculpting combs
*6 large tips
*5 new stencils
*Carrying case
*Storage bag for letter tiles
*Tri star tip and more

Oh, how I hope I win!  I love baking.  I hate cooking, but I LOVE baking!  Head on over to All About Cakes to enter!

I held Josh up in the air above my head and something (I hope to God it was a cheerio) fell from his mouth and landed directly in mine.  I almost threw up.  Baby mouths are so gross.  All kids are gross.  Why people let babies put their hands in their mouths is beyond me.  My kid shoves his nasty little baby hands in about 6 mouths a day.  I’ve seen the kid wipe boogers across his face and put dirt in his mouth.  Just because someone is adorable, should not make you want to allow them to put their appendages in your mouth (unless you’re married to said person, but that’s a different topic altogether).

Speaking of which, Ryan’s opening the Cool Dad Guide, ‘From Potty Training to Pantera’.  He’s the sloganator.  He can rock the slogans.  It won’t be up for about a week, but I’m moving ‘What He Has to Say’ by my friend J. Burrows over there, and Ryan will start writing as well.   Look for lots of Dad Contributors on site, it should be a lot of fun.

The Wii Fit Mommies rock.  Fo’ real.  For the Valentine’s day Twitter party, Ryan ‘the sloganator’ Maloney thought up “Wii Fit Mommies Lots of Love (Handles) to Give” as our theme.  Can’t wait to hear his St. Patty’s day slogan.

Check out the site, .if you get a chance.  We’ve kicked off some great incentive prizes, starting with some gallery prints from the  Loxly Gallery of Art and Photography.  More prizes and in-forum contests are in the works and we’re always looking for contest and Twitter Party sponsors, so email Julie@Coolmomguide.com if you’d like to sponsor.

This is some funny shit right here.  Adam from Heinous Records emailed it to the Wii Fit Mommies.  It’s a little too racy to post on the Mommies site, but it’s just racy enough for mine.  It is HILARIOUS.

I have about 3 months of clean clothes to put away.  I hate packing but I loathe unpacking.  Washing and hanging the clothes is my least favorite chore.  I’d rather clean toilets.  In fact, I DID clean all the toilets today.  Stepped over a pile of laundry on my way to the bathroom to clean them.

Had to go to the Pharmacy yesterday because Josh, my 9 month old, has an ear infection & a sinus infection.  While in the long ass line, my 3 1/2 year old screamed, “Mom!  Josh keeps touching me with his sickness!”  YEAH.

I’m sick of my blog design, every time I go to Keely’s site I want a new one because her’s is so freaking cool.  I like the Wii Fit Mommies site my brother designed and I like my 2 columns and all that but I want everything changed.  If you’d like to give me a free makeover, I’m down (wink, wink).

Alright, I have shit to do.  Check out The Un Mom and friends for other Random Tuesday Thoughts.  It’s my favorite day to post and I’ve only missed it once.  Peace out, Homie.

Love the randomness – don’t love kids hands in my mouth! ;)

  • Casey says:

So did you eat the Cheerio or spit it out? Kids are disgusting, at least mine are. My 8 month old tried to eat her brother’s shitty diaper the other day before I picked it up to throw away. That’s not chocolate, kiddo. My bedroom floor currently has about five loads of clean laundry on it and we didn’t take any trips. I’d rather blog than put away clothes…

Thanks for stopping by today! I would have fought to get that Elmo, he sounds simply amazing (and similar to a lot of guys I know).
