Random Tuesday Thoughts – Savoring the Manic

randomtuesday

I woke up this morning  well rested, sun burned and jacked up.  Must be something about Tuesdays, I get super manic and productive.

I have something planned for next week, so I plan on writing every post for this and next week through next Friday (the 21st) today.  I’ll have them all auto post and then I won’t have to stress about not working from my trip.

I’m also going to catch up on all my reviews.  Shit.  Those are the tougher ones.  I only write about what I really like, because if someone sends me girl clothes, I certainly can’t have either of my boys model them without my husband threatening divorce, so I just can’t write that review up.  I have SOME ethics here, people.  You need to CONTACT me if you want a review, you can’t just send things people!

If you want more comments on your blog, here’s a tip.  DON’T MAKE IT SO EFFING HARD TO LEAVE ONE.   Don’t ask people to register, because we won’t.  Don’t make the CAPTCHA so hard (or don’t have it at all).  Ditch the commenting things that auto reply a thank you and subscribe you to the thread automatically.   I don’t know about other blogging platforms, but with WordPress all I need is the Akismet plugin and it handles everything for me.  It pulls all the spam into one folder, I check it to make sure a legit comment didn’t get tossed in there and then I mass delete.

I actually don’t mind the spammers, their comments are never seen and it means I’m getting that many more page views to apply to my ad network ROFL.

I was reading how cool Keely’s searches are and I was so upset to see mine aren’t as weird.  All my searches are like “fantasy football help for women” (which actually pleases me) and “How to lose 60 pounds after pregnancy”, “pees shower” (LOVE IT), “Cool Mom”, “Jake Delhomme Ripped Pants” (WTF?) and “duh mean”.   I’m going to have to make a real effort to get some extra crazy people headed my way.  It’s totally unfair.

My 17 month old likes to strip his clothes off and dance to “Yo Gabba Gabba”.  I’m going to have some extra time with my therapist next week.

I was going to start a running list of showers I’ve peed in, but someone kindly reminded me that I will no longer be invited in as a house guest so it’s a project I should nix.  At least you can all be satisfied in knowing that if I’m a guest at your house, I’ll most likely pee in your shower.

I’m so manic, I can’t think.  I’m watching my toddler rub his waffle on my end table to mop up the G2 energy drink he decided to dump.  My four year old will not stop asking for a cookie.  I don’t give cookies but I needed him to leave me alone for a minute and promised him he could have one after lunch.  Instead of waiting patiently for lunch, he’s chosen to ask for that cookie every five minutes.  I have a strict “dont’ repeat yourself” rule in this house.  He has a limit to repetition allowed until I revoke the item promised.  It teaches him to be less annoying and patience.  It also helps my patience.

If you have some random thoughts in your mind that a short enough to fill a tiny space, put them all together to build a larger space and turn it into a blog post you can link up to with my lovah, The Un Mom.  She gives good random.
