Random Tuesday Thoughts – PSYCHO!

Holy hell you guys my mom attacked my blog as herself and as strangers saying I’m a shit person and mom and all that.  I wrote about something that happened a decade ago and I admitted to something she herself should probably admit to and I was “put to shame”.  First of all the blogs about me (from this MOM’S PERSPECTIVE) and I don’t like writing about my kids.  Also, by the time they’re old enough to read or have a care at all to read this it’ll be long gone and I’m not ashamed of who I am.  I’m proud that I’ve taken the time to reevaluate myself and I think that going to AA has been wonderfully therapeutic.

Mother if you’re reading this just know you’ve put the nail in the coffin.  All voice and emails sent to any phones are saved (but not listened to) and I will ABSOLUTELY file a restraining order and have no issue letting this be known on my blog because I save and document any and all harassment.  Back off.

YOU GUYS LIKE THAT?  DraMA!  I thought that was done with.

The meetings have been wonderful.  I’ve learned a lot about the disease that is alcoholism and while I’m for sure at the low end, I can tell from family history had I not recognized it with the help of my therapist I could very easily have gone down a path I wouldn’t want to go.  My children have never and will never see me drunk.  I wouldn’t want to put them through the same therapy I need.

Angry today?  Yes.  I am now.

Work’s been fantastic.  FANTASTIC!  I love Sunday’s.  We now have me announcing during games raffling off prizes and I get to interact with all of our guests and I’m feeling like a solid part of the group.  I’m making good money, am supporting myself and I’m spending a great amount of quality time with my kids and Ryan because I spend my nights and full days off at his house (they play better there and are wild in public).  Life’s actually pretty amazing right now save for the rant you saw above.

I can’t wait to tell my sister.

The show’s on at 8:30PM EST instead of 9:00 so I can make my 10PM meeting.  Make a note of that.  There’s no set format save for the fact that there will once again be trivia for those present and we’ll try to make future listeners stay entertained as well.  We’ll work on that throughout the day and I’m sure we’ll show you a good time.

I’m dying for potato soup and have lost the ability to be funny so I’ll save the stories I have for later on this week.  I had some interesting things come my way I think you’ll get a kick out of.
