Radio Flyer Lights and Sounds Racer

I know.  Seriously, right?  Do I make good baby or what?  This kid is a tank and when I was approached by the fine people over at Radio Flyer and was asked if I was interested in checking out their new Lights and Sounds Racer I couldn’t pass up the chance.  He had already worn down the bike we got him last year and hasn’t gotten off this one since it arrived at our door.

He first made sure to get in the way of everything we were doing to get it together.  It was fairly simple to assemble, only had a few minor glitches because neither his father nor I know how to use a tool of any kind.  After about a dozen “Come ON, Josh!  Let us finish this!”, our little monster grabbed it, hopped on board and went sailing at high speed down the driveway.

That also caused a panic because in all his wisdom and superhero-like abilities, he managed to launch down the driveway without a helmet, causing my heart to leap from my chest.  I screamed the “You’d better stop”
countdown to three and when he finally did I tool that picture.  He is so friggin cute.  I absolutely know how to make good baby.

We got the helmet on him and set him loose.  All the neighborhood kids big and small gathered around to press the buttons on the bike.  Mostly the boys.  Just like men to screw with a new gadget the second they get the chance.  Given that I can only tell you how totally awesome and repeated used this bike is both inside and outside my home, I’m going to give the folks over at Radio Flier a chance to get you the specs.  I don’t do reviews often so you know if I ‘m putting one out there it’s one I stand behind and I think it’s a great choice for the upcoming holidays.  Radio Flyer is something all of us hold true in our hearts and it’s a special thing to be able to pass along their creations down through the generations.
