I’m not joking, this is real.
And I owned it.
Let’s take us back to 2001, just after 9/11. I was working at Continental Airlines in Syracuse Airport and it was swarming with the National Guard. I honestly don’t know how I get into conversations with people and how they lead to often repulsive shit but I must have said something fierce because a few days later one of the guys brought me the CD above. That’s right. PornoSonic. Unreleased 70′s porn music (I wondered which way it didn’t release but I just went on and assumed it wasn’t actually put in porn as opposed to it just being unsuccessful in doing it’s job).
I immediately squealed with joy and took with with the stipulation that I’d return it in a few days (never did) and I played that baby until it couldn’t play any more. I’d find some posh neighborhood and unroll my windows and let the sounds of “Spider Pussy” flow through the air. I wouldn’t recommend that one, it’s kind of redundant.
Upon looking it up it turns out this was actually the name of a band who may or may not have had someone famous in it and they’re not allowed to tell us who. These songs were part of the porn world so I’m going to assume because they were unreleased, that meant the dudes didn’t release as well. Check out this track list -
Fuck yeah I Wikipedia’d that shit! “Laying Pipe” from “Plumber’s DeLight? That’s fantastic! I wish I could remember all of these, it’s been a decade. I was out at my bar last night and managed to get myself into another one of my conversations and it led to talk of this.
I’ll leave you with a little ditty that you can listen to while you pick up around the house. It’s really quite jazzy and if you watch The Weather Channel you might notice they play songs from soundtracks like these during their “Weather On The 8′s”. Makes it more interesting to find out it’s going to be partly cloudy with a high of 99 degrees.

Awesome. Truly awesome! When I saw your weather on the 8′s post yesterday I immediately shook my head, then thought of my Dad for some reason since he has always been obsessed with the Weather Channel. NOW I know why. Putting two and two together isn’t always fun!

I get all of my stories from talking to people when I go out. I start running my mouth and when a new story pops in my head I make a note of it in my phone. There’s no way I’ll remember what to write about at 7AM if I don’t take notes and keep track of this mind of mine!
