Random Tuesday Thoughts: It’s Show Time!

Okay I’m honestly not ignoring everyone and I AM seeing your comments I just have a strict policy that I will not approve a comment unless I have the time to visit the website you run.  It’s like a comment high five and it’s also time consuming and time is something I’m low on.  I have 22 comments to get to and I will, just probably not until tomorrow.  I have WAY too much going on right now.

I’m getting used to the job.  I’m finding great ways to spend quality time with my kids.  I’ve been managing to blast out a post daily and get some other behind the scenes bloggy stuff done to keep getting my bills paid but now I’m bringing back the Momspective Blog Talk Radio Show and it’s going to be EPIC.

Every month we’re going to have a month-long giveaway here on my site and I’m going to run them like I normally do, they’ll just be a full month instead of two weeks long and the winner has to listen to the final show of the month to hear if he or she has won.  They’ll have 48 hours to listen live or to the archived version and then they’ll have to email me their personal info.  Our first giveaway will be a Nintendo DS starting August 1st.  The September giveaway?

A $100 gift certificate to EdenFantasys.com.  Fuck yes.  Quite literally in some cases.  This won’t just be chic-centric.  EdenFantasys.com has stuff for the ladies and the men-folk.  Crazy shit like toys and lubes and couple happy fun time stuff.  I have an entire drawer dedicated to them.  They have this personal massager that looks like a damn hand drill that comes with a billion attachments.  It has one that you can put on your head and it totally makes your skull vibrate.  I’m not sure what the rest of them do and I’m not sure if one of them is meant for some serious action but I would like to highly recommend it for whoever wins that giveaway.

I hear there’s a new serial killer.  I don’t know much about it because I haven’t checked my father’s Facebook page.  He’s my all in one source for all the latest news and information.  He words it in a way that makes me giggle when I should absolutely be taking it seriously but bad news really upsets me and I’ve got enough to talk about in therapy so I just count on his brilliance to give me the gist of what’s going on in the world.

I wish they didn’t use the term “Serial Killer” because it makes me think of Lucky Charms.  Too close to “Cereal” if you ask me and everyone likes Cereal.  They changed “Manic-depression” (which it REALLY is) to “Bipolar” (which makes me sound like a gay arctic bear) so why can’t we change that up a little bit?

Okay, I have to go prep for the show.  You seriously need to head on over to my Facebook Page and ‘Like’ it.  It’s going to be huge.  It might start awkward but I guarantee you’ll giggle.  We’ll be drinking of course and we have lots of fun things recorded and segments planned.  Today’s topic is “Bitch or Slut – what would you rather be called” and it absolutely applies to men too.  I also want to hear what men think regarding us ladies.  Be sure to listen live at 9PM EST tonight.  You can register with BlogTalkRadio.com and talk to us live in the chat room and we welcome live callers (646) 595-4835.  On Thursday I’ll post some pictures and give you a rundown of how it went with a link to the archived show.  I hear that I might have a special caller from my favorite blog but I’m not going to go all puddle panties until it actually happens.
