HiveMoms Just Might Make My Life Easier…

All I talk about it myself.  I’m a blogger, it’s my job.  I typically like to leave my family out of this website as much as I can because, frankly, they don’t want to be in here.
So knowing that you read my website means you know things about me you probably didn’t have any interest in knowing.  Well, nee ner nee ner, that’s too bad.
Bet you can’t tell I’M in a peachy mood today!  Part of the reason is because I’m not well and in less than two weeks, I’m having an operation that will put me in bed for four weeks.  I told my doc I’d be fine in three but he’s saying four.
I have an amazing group of friends and family who are all networking to take time off to stay at my home during this time, but I was contacted by the website HiveMoms.com and was really excited about what I saw.
HiveMoms.com is a community of moms (and dads too) who wish to reach out to other parents who live nearby, or with kids in the same school. The purpose is to form co-ops for exchanging babysitting and other favors.
My operation is less than two weeks out,  and I know I should have all the help I need (Monday through Friday 7:30-5:00 if you want to help lmao) but even though this is a sponsored post by HiveMoms,  I plan on joining them to not only see if anyone I already know is has joined, but to connect with other parents in my community.
Even if I don’t need a sitter for a doctor’s appointment, I could always use a friend.  I have two very close friends that live within a mile and we’re great about watching each others kids (I actually met one of them two years ago on a website like HiveMoms.com and we hang out without the kids more than we do with them!) but I want to make more friends.
So if you’re in the Fort Mill area, join up so we can form a group and get a good co-op going.  If you’re in any other community, do the same.
Of all of the times for me to need a community like HiveMoms.com, it’s now.
