Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Princeâ„¢

Relive the thrills, action, and excitement of the Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Princeâ„¢ movie this summer! From EA and Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, the Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince video game takes you to Hogwarts to help Harry survive a fraught sixth year. Engage in exciting wizard duels, mix and brew magical ingredients in Potions class, and take to the air to lead the Gryffindor Quidditch team to victory.

Game Features

  • Relive the thrills, action and excitement of the movie this summer- Experience the most compelling Harry Potter video game which genuinely captures the magic, intrigue and, above all, the fun of the movie!
  • The Wii Remote becomes your wand – Use the Wii Remote to cast spells and interact with the world. Gesture-based spell casting makes the game incredibly immersive and fun to play.
  • Explore authentic Hogwarts environments – From the Quidditch pitch to the Astronomy Tower , you will be amazed by the attention to detail in every area of the school grounds. Plus, the castle corridors are filled with a variety of magical objects and rewards for you to discover!
  • Characters look and move like actors - The mo-cap technology and facial capture techniques are the most advanced ever used to create a Harry Potter videogame. The in-game characters resemble the film actors so closely, you have to see it to believe it!
  • Duel like never before - For the first time, you can move and cast spells simultaneously, creating intense duels and incredibly fast-paced action. Join the Gryffindor Dueling Club to master your skills as you train for epic battles with evil Death Eaters.
  • Feel the thrill of Quidditch – The Wii Remote and Nunchuck becomes your broomstick as you chase down the Snitch as the Gryffindor Seeker.  Compete against Hufflepuffâ„¢, Ravenclawâ„¢ and Slytherinâ„¢ in the most exciting wizarding sport.
  • Perfect your potion-mixing skills – Mix magical ingredients, pour in liquids, stir the cauldron, fan the flames and try your best to avoid a big explosion in Potions class!

As part of the super cool and wicked awesome upcoming #wiimoms Twitter party, I’m giving away all the items in the picture above to one lucky winner!  The game for the Wii AND the DS along with a supa cool pen and slap bracelet!

Along with your prize, you will also receive a set of 2 pound weights from RiiFlex! What is so special about these weights? They fit over your Wii Remote and NunChuck! Add a little resistance while running, stepping, just about anything! Now, these dumbells are scheduled for release in the fall, so you will be one of the first people to have a pair of these!

The only requirement (besides being a US Resident over the age of 18) is that you have to be present and active during the #wiimoms Twitter party on July 16, 2009 from 8-10 PM EST.  We’re not saying you have to attend the entire 2 hour party, but we will verify that the winner was present and active at the end of the evening and re-draw once the party ends if the winner chosen does not participate.
