I Had Something Funny To Say but Forgot What It Was

randomtuesday

It’s pretty bad when my kids get really quiet and I know that I should check on them but OH MY GOD there’s silence and what can a couple more minutes do?  All the doors are  secured and outlets plugged in so don’t give the “they can drown in their own pee” speech.

…and it’s gone.

They appear to be hitting each other with a box.

No matter how hot I get, my feet are always cold.

I’m reading the Tru Blood books that were written BEFORE Twighlight and even though I adore Twighlight, that series is a total ripoff of Tru Blood.

***AHH!!  STOP ATTACKING ME!  I SAID I LIKED IT ANYWAY!***

I was in the shower the other day, turned the water off and realized I had to pee so I turned the water right back on and did just that before turning it off again to get out.

Oh, yeah…

Check out The Wii Mommies Blog Talk Radio show this Friday at 1PM EST.  We’ll have a breast cancer specialist, Dr. Funk will be on to talk about the importance of early detection and breast Cancer screening as well as share with our listeners why she believes the “Save Lids to Save Lives” campaign from Yoplait is making a difference in the fight against breast cancer.

My mom got my son one of those Red Rider trikes that I initially thought he was too old for but now officially love because he sits on the seat and my 18 month old sits on the little step-stool thingy behind it and they drive around together.  It’s pretty freakin’ adorable.

While I find that all these educational cartoons are great for my kid, I’m WAY more entertained by the trashier ones that dumb him down like Phineaus & Pherb or however it’s spelled.  I don’t like it enough to Google it.

Clowns don’t just scare me, they make me pee my pants (or run immediately into a shower so I can pee there).

THANK GOD for the new Wii Fit Plus.  I was on that puppy for an hour last night and I woke up SORE, which I consider fantastic.  My four year old just came up to me sitting on the couch and hugged me and asked “Mom, are you getting fat or are my arms getting shorter?”

I am NOT getting fat, punk, it’s just the way I’m sitting.  I swear, I’m still in a size 8.  I just WANT to be a 6.  I think I can do it between the Plus and EA SPORTS Active.  I’m going hardcore today.

Check out Keely’s blog for some more random Tuesday Thoughts.  While it doesn’t put out on the first date, her blog sure gives good random!

I read the first book in the Twilight series and I just don’t get the appeal. It was okay, but not OMG! I love it! I think I’ll skip the movie. Maybe I’ll check out Tru Blood and see how they are. My kids love Phineaus & Ferb and at least I don’t mind watching it if I have to.

‘Clowns don’t just scare me, they make me pee my pants (or run immediately into a shower so I can pee there).’ LMAO!!

I have been known, occasionally, to be guilty of enjoying the silence just a few minutes longer though I know I should probably be checking on the kids. When they were younger, those were the only moments of silence I ever had!

I have the ‘Tru Blood’ books to read too, but I haven’t started them yet. I’ve never read ‘Twilight,’ but that’s not even on my reading list. My daughter loves them, but I just can’t get into the ‘Twilight’ craze.

I would kill to be an 8. Or a 10. Or a 12. I’ll just stop there. *sigh* I think I need to get my butt off the couch and start using the exercise room in my apartment building.

  • Erica says:

An inspiration to us all :) I wish I was an 8… hell, I’d settle for a size 10. I so need the wii fit for Christmas! :)

Happy Tuesday to you. Get busy, slacker.

    Good Morning Love!!!

Again you are so hilarious. And brave! I would never admit to peeing in the shower no matter how many times I do it. heheh.

You look awesome by the way. I have been getting much more serious on that aspect of my live, one day. With luck by the time blogher gets here I will be real close. I don’t know if I could keep up, but would love to hang out with you.

Was a twilight fan until the last book…then it got kind-of strange…going to have to try the Tru Blood books.

Random thought: Am going to dinner & show w/mom tonight. She & stepdad retired to community about 45 mins away. Couldn’t wait for them to live nearby. Be careful what you wish for…

OMG, I love the Tru Blood series! I highly recommend them. Another good series is the Demon Hunter series by Julie Kenner. I just got the new one and can’t wait to read it. I have the new Wii Fit Plus and it is fun. I just find the new calorie counter demoralizing. While the Wii Fit exercises are fun, it is sad how few calories they burn.

    Julie Reply:

Oh, sweet, I’ll check it out. I love books like that!

  • Mindy Holt says:

Well now, I have read both and don’t think Twilight is a rip off lol but there are ummm some things that are really similar lol. However I enjoyed both for different reasons and coincidently have a compulsion at times to kill both Bella and Sookie.
I do already have New Moon tickets though. But not at midnight.. its really just the opportunity to get away for a while and look at boys.

    Julie Reply:

I just noticed they are AWFULLY similar, even though I love both series. Plus, Robert Patterson is hot, even though I read the books 2 years before they announced a movie.

  • Angelina says:

I do the same thing with the kids. Silence is golden. If they are being quiet they are usually doing something they shouldn’t be doing but I just can’t seem to disturb them, they’re obviously having fun.

AHAHAHAHAHAAAA! ROTFLMBO!!! You are the only person brave enough to admit to peeing in the shower! And you know what? There is power in groups, so here goes: I pee in the shower too! LOL!

I am not a reader belive it or not. I mean books anyway. I would rather watch the movie but if it’s good enought to keep me interested it’s on I’ll read it. Are they worth it?

I don’t like clowns either reminds me of the movie “IT” by Steven King. URG

  • Never fails, you always make me laugh. My little baby girl is usually playing on the floor of the shower. I don’t get the luxury of peeing. Although her brother seems to think he can pee on her.
