Hello folks. I started Wii Fit Plus six days ago and simply love it. We got it for our children last year and I am actually mad that I didn't try it sooner. My son has been offering to set up a profile for me for a while and I finally took him up on his offer. My husband ... he found this blog for me and left it full face on my computer for reading. Glad that he did, just don't tell him. Four kids and 23 years later of neglecting myself, I have much to lose. I was excited to learn my Wii Fit age is 41 when I am 50, but hope to become younger as time goes along. I want to be Wii Fit Reborn! It is fun, challenging and keeps tabs on me. I am afraid to miss a day fearing the reprimand so I am planning to stick with it. I do feel some toning going on, but no weight loss to brag about. I will be heeding the Momspective advice to train with the yoga. Will be looking into EA SPORTS Active too. Thanks for sharing your stories. P.S. Another mom friend my age credits her weight loss to Wii Fit and she looks wonderful.

So glad I found this site! I have had a wii for almost a year now (got it last Christmas) but had never had the board for my Wii Fit Plus until my birthday 2 days ago. I was extremely excited about it because I want to lose weight in order to get pregnant. ( I have PCOS and weight affects my symptoms infertility being one the most) This is my 2nd day doing it and I really enjoy it especially the hula hoop and the stepping routine. I'm not a gym person. I just don't enjoy the atmosphere and I get nervous around others when I workout so this this great for me. My plan so far is to just at least do something everyday even if it's just 20 minutes to get my body use to exercising again. I love the fact that it keeps track of me and holds me accountable for my actions. I really appreciate your site and plan to join the community to hear more from others. The wii is AWESOME! Now I have to work on my eating.

Took me 2 years to lose about 100 pounds but I average a 10 pound weight loss each month if I stick to my routine.

Wow, that's great. We purchased a Wii and Wii fit back in September and after playing the games, I didn't feel like I was getting any benefit from it, and my weight stayed the same. Now reading your story, I think I'll give it another go, and give it a real honest attempt every day. We actually just got the Wii fit Plus and we have the EA Sports Active, so there's plenty for me to do. Thank you so much for posting your story. It was truly inspirational, and congrats on your weight loss success!
