Fitness Friday-EA SPORTS Challenge Wrap Up

fitness-friday-button-new

WOW!  I can’t believe how quick the EA SPORTS Active 30 day challenge flew by!  What an amazing product, and I cant wait to participate in the upcoming National challenge starting June 1st with hundreds of individuals across the country!

I started this challenge eager to see what this new product could do for me.  I’ve come so far in the past year using the virtual fitness products to achieve optimal fitness, and there isn’t another product like this one out there!

It’s felt really good to not only see the improvement in my body as this challenge has progressed, but the preset workouts have really helped me to establish a great fitness routine.  I have always felt that I had to work out every single day to get this weight off and it’s really rewarding to know that I get to take every third day off to relax and not stress or feel guilty about not working out a day, because I’m doing what I’m supposed to do!

My set goal for this challenge was to lose 10 pounds and I’ve lost 8.  I was doing great until I hit a road block I’d like to call the “Cold of the Century” and I had to miss a few days because I couldn’t get out of bed.  Once I was better I just picked up where I left off and the calendar in the product readjusted for me to get right back into the great fitness habits it’s helped me to form.

I am amazed at the progress I’ve made over the past month.  I started out intimidated by moves I’ve now mastered! If all of this can be accomplished in just one month just imagine what continual, dedicated use will do!

I’m so grateful to have been included in the EA SPORTS Active 30 day challenge.  I pushed myself to try new things, improved my physical as well as my emotional health and I have connected with some amazing people.  Being able to participate with the other 11 challengers and see how this product has affected each of us this month was an awesome experience.

Every one of the challengers saw physical benefit.  We lost weight, gained muscle tone and improved our timing and accuracy.  By sharing my challenge with all of you, I’ve seen wonderful support and have made new friends along the way.  This was an experience I’ll truly value and carry forward with me as I continue to strive to achieve and maintain good health!

Thanks so much for your support during this challenge, and I hope I can return the favor by showing you my continued support and dedication to you thorugh the Wii Mommies website and forums!

Great post! glad that I could read this and see how it works. I knew that the wii was going to be good for me but hearing your story keeps me going.

  • I’m so inspired. What do you think about having a garage sale and the money made could go toward a Wii?

    How cool would that be?

Congrats on the 8 lbs!! I’m starting the National 30 Day Challenge on June 1st and found you on the website. I live in Charlotte – so fairly close to you! I’m looking forward to doing this myself – not looking to lose weight, just tone up my 44 yr old, 4 baby body! LOL…anyway, wanted to stop by and see what your blog was all about – its great by the way! Take care neighbor :-)

My husband just purchased it the other day and I’m waiting for it. Really excited. We couldn’t exercise together with the Wii fit, so that really put a damper on it. But you can do it with another person, I hear. So I’m stoked!

I’m proud of you with the 8lbs. That’s alot of weight to lose in 30 days! You go girl!

This is my first time checking out your site, and I love it. I have a wife that has gradually gone from riding her bike around the block when I purchased it for her birthday a few years ago, to the wife that now goes to the gym twice a day.

In the early part of my wife’s “getting healthy” change, the WII was another item she dabbled with. She had a great time with the WII but do to some remodeling at the house she needed to find other outlets to exercise. As I am writing this she is at the Gym taking some “Zumba” class or something like that, she loves it. When she gets home I will be telling her about your blog and what you have accomplished, she most likely will never comment but I know for a fact she will be a daily reader. I have tried to get her to bite on her own blog and start something to motivate and communicate with others and learn, but she seems to be more into reading than commenting. Who knows maybe your site will help change that.

Your blog is excellent and all though I have only recently started jumping rope and am hardly the healthy specimen I have bookmarked your site. I hope you don’t mind me hanging around here from time to time to take some of your motivation along with me :)

Keep up the amazing work, your probably helping a lot more people than you think.

  • Congrats on the 8lbs you lost. Sounds like EA Sports is something I may have to look into buying. I need to lose around 10 lbs or so but I also want something that is going to help me tone up. Who knows, maybe I can get hubby to try it with me. :)

way to go girl!! that is so exciting!

  • I am so glad you were able to see results. I so want this!!!!

  • How brilliant and congratulations on losing 8 pounds in a month! Well done :)
