Fare Thee Well, Blogher…Thanks for Memories (or lack thereof)

dave

Alright.  I know my demographic.  I know that reason people  read my shit is because you genuinely enjoy it (and thank you).  With that assumption, I’m gonna go ahead and tell you now BLOGHER RAWKS.

Everyone does something different at Blogher.  Some wake up early to attend session after session, claiming both knowledge and swag.  Some wandered the Expo center and talked to the various PR reps representing brands and made connections (and got swag).

And some stayed up til two each morning, slept in til noon ten and simply did all their networking over evening cocktails.  Okay, maybe I was the only one with that strategy but screw it.  That’s what works for me.

I met and loved up on some of the most amazing people of my life.  Not just the beautiful bloggers but the product reps kicked ass.  The folks from Tide not only smell great but I truly enjoyed the three hours I sat in your lounge being mistaken for one of your employees.

My brain is still fried from all the drinking socializing I did during my  five day stay and I’m super sad that all of you couldn’t make it.  You’d have loved it, I hear I was very funny.

Next year’s convention will be hosted in NYC so I hope that city is ready to have me back again.  I’ve done my fair share of damage the last few times I went this year and have some great friends to connect with while I’m there.  If anyone is wanting to sponsor the Wii Mommies, let us know.  ;)

We hosted a kick ass party at the House Of Blues with an open bar, buffet and video games all over the place.  We attended just about all the other parties like Socialuxe, Room 704 (I ADORE you gals) and Bowlher, which I was skeptical about but ended up having a great time dancing to the “Thong Song” (I’m not jokng-I danced to the Thong Song in a bowling alley).

So for those of you who didn’t attend of get a chance to give me that hug I wanted, you must find a way to get to NYC for next year’s event.  I can honestly say that this was one of the single greatest experiences of my life!
