I’m ripping the following post directly from SuperficialGallery.com because I fully support this giveaway and want you to please do it but I don’t feel creative enough to word it my own way.

It’s that time of year again.  Time for the Costume Contest.  The prizes this year are mega valuable and the rules are as easy as ever.  Here is the deal:

1. On October 23 I’ll post up the sign you need to use in your picture (color and black and white versions – click to enlarge).  Or make your own sign.  Or write Superficial Gallery on your hand.  I don’t care.
    

    

2. Take a picture of yourself in your costume holding the sign.  Or holding your…written on hand.
3. Email the pic (and the name you want me to use for you) to Acadia at superficialgallery.com
4. You can also post it to the gallery facebook page
5. You will have until midnight November 2 to submit your pic.
6. Voting will run from November 3 until 7PM EST on November 6.

I got a free subscription to Animoto and made this video with it.  This is proof that it is the easiest video product in the world.  No joke.  It is wicked easy.  And the pics in the video are from one of the old contests.  So if you don’t understand it, you have problems.  Serious problems!

I got a new Droid 3 and it’s super cool because I can talk into it and it will text for me, I can slide out the keyboard and text like normal or I can swipe the board and it registers the keys I hover over and guesses the word.  Three ways I can die while driving.  I had the document section open while I was getting dressed this morning so I would have ideas as to what to write today but my notes ended up reading like this -

Yeah.  I went to Ireland.  That’s me and my mini-monkey Blue chillin’ in a yard at a castle.  I threw him around a bunch to let him roll around in the grass because it was so lush and green.  I have a picture of me “Monkey bowling” that a new friend of mine took over there.  If I look fat it’s because I had on two pairs of pants and four layers of shirts. it was fucking COLD.

So I’ll start this week off with the beginning and the end.  I was scared shitless.  I booked the tickets under Julie Jones because that’s what my passport says.  As long as your ticket matches your I.D. you’re fine, I worked for the airlines so I knew this.  What worried me was that I have an arsenal of medications I take and you have to bring all the bottles so they know you’re not a drug smuggler and those are under Julie Maloney.  I brought both I.D.’s but had no idea if I’d get in trouble or not.

So I head out to Ireland and it’s easy-peasy.  Hop on the plane, take pills and sleep for eight hours.  Go through customs and tell them I’m headed to The Morrison hotel to party with my friends and he says “Have fun” and I go on about my business (I’ll probably tell a story or two this week, I was funny).

It was coming back that terrified me.
