Random Tuesday Thoughts

randomtuesday

I seriously can’t get over how much I look forward to my Random Tuesday Thoughts. I have so much random shit built up in my head, I honestly save it all for Tuesdays.

I was just up for about 3 hours writing a post and press release for the Wii Fit Mommies Twitter party and announcement about us joining up with NewBaby.com to Video blog (Vlog) the members of the Wii Mommies forum and website.

I swear, I had NO IDEA I was so motivated. I typically pride myself on being lazy, but I am so damn determined to change lives, I’m sitting up at 2AM writing all this.

There have been some nasty bitter rumors about me and the Wii Fit Mommies floating around and this right here is the only thing I will say about it. The Wii Fit Mommies website (http://fitness.momspective.com) is a NON PROFIT website. I am NOT GETTING PAID by anyone. Stop being a hater, it’s unflattering. (It gets better. My First Video Review-Vicks ComfortFlex Digital Thermometer

Vicks ComfortFlex Digital Thermometer with Fever InSight Feature

This is my very first Video review.  I’m sick as can be and thought it’d be a great time to check for fever.  Figuring you’d want to see how it works with a child, I also used it on the baby.  He’s been teething pretty bad and has had a stuffy nose for a few days, so when I read that he indeed had a mild fever, I have him some infant Tylenol.  I’m grateful I brought the Vicks ComfortFlex Digital Thermometer with Fever InSight Feature with me on my trip.  It’s lightweight, compact and really has been useful.  This weather up here is total crap and we’re all miserable because of it.  This has proven accurate and very helpful.  You can purchase the Vicks ComfortFlex Digital Thermometer with Fever InSight Feature  at most grocery/drug stores and it retails for about $9.48.

Please note, after watching this back I realized how stupid saying ‘I have less than a fever’ sounded, but I can only assume you know what I  meant. I was thinking ‘less than Normal’, yet those words didn’t come out.  I’m delierious with exhaustion and have been at my Mom’s in Upstate NY for 2 weeks, with a week to go.

From the Vicks Website-

Fever InSight helps you to better understand the meaning of your child’s temperature with color indicated on the display. The screen displays green if no fever, yellow when the temperature is slightly elevated and a red fever alert.

  • Faster readings; in as fast as eight seconds
  • ComfortFlex tip makes temperature taking more comfortable.
  • Professional accuracy
  • Fever InSight large backlit display changes color to indicate temperature level.
  • Oral, rectal, or underarm use
  • Memory feature recalls and displays last temperature taken.
  • Waterproof for easy, more thorough cleaning
  • Automatic shutoff to help extend battery life
  • Probe covers and storage case included
  • Lifetime warranty under normal use and battery replacement
